The Good Shepherd

I once saw two tiny twins standing by the side of a snack table.  They looked longingly upon the snacks.  But their hand remained by their sides.  It was only after an adult whom they trust picked up and offered the snack (piecemeal) did they began to eat.

Do we partake of food ourselves?  Do we know who it is that feeds up?
