Zeal for Thine House Has Consumed Me

You know, there's a passage in Deuteronomy where people are told to swap their offerings for money, travel to Jerusalem, and swap it back into animal form.  So why was Jesus so worked up at the temple?  Why (and how) did he "righteously" drive out all the money changers at the Temple?
